Santiago Has Opened Its Doors!

Hello!

My name is Jailinne Martinez. I graduated with a degree in psychology last year. Now I am working as a personal tutor, and I am also a lead discipler in Manna Santiago. It is an honor to say that I was part of the Discipling Program during my time in college. It was a good experience where I met awesome people. I feel blessed because during my years in the program, I encountered our Savior. I thank the Lord for the opportunities I had in the ministry.

We have decided to create this blog so you can get to know me and the girls that are part of the program now – our lives, how we are contributing to the Kingdom, and our struggles.

What a blessing it is for me to be back again! We feel very grateful for all the support you have given us. Words can’t explain how blessed we are. May God continue blessing you all!

Since the pandemic started, things changed. The world was upside down. People were and are suffering due to COVID. Here in the DR, families lost their jobs. Churches were closed. Everything was closed. Doctors didn’t know what was happening. It was a moment of constant uncertainty. For this reason, Manna Santiago needed a pause. We did not know what to expect from this whole situation.

I believe the past year has taught us a lesson. We do not have control. God does. This was and still is challenging because that’s what humans like – to have control over every situation, but COVID taught us different.

Despite the actual situation, COVID has not stopped the Gospel and that’s why Manna Santiago has decided to open its doors. We are back! We are super excited to continue spreading God’s word!

We need your prayers through this journey.

Stay tuned!
