A Story of Presence, Hope, and Renewal

Jordan Reese’s story is marked by faith woven into everyday life—through relationships, service, and a deep love for people.

Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jordan was shaped early on by the steady influence of her parents, teachers, youth leaders, and close friends. From a young age, missions captured her heart. As she served on mission teams in places like Jamaica and Mexico, she discovered a growing love for other cultures and for the way God brings people together through faith in Him.

A Calling That Took Shape Over Time

Jordan pursued a degree in education with a desire to serve the church, eventually stepping into full-time youth ministry. For several years, she poured herself into the lives of students, teaching and discipling them. As life unfolded, Jordan and Jeff prepared for marriage—a season that ultimately led her into foreign missions.

Today, Jordan serves in Cookeville, Tennessee, where her ministry is both relational and practical. She leads the ESL program and participates in the Women’s Weekly Devotional at El Puente, creating space for learning, encouragement, and spiritual growth. Alongside this work, she also serves Manna Global through administration and finance, faithfully supporting the mission behind the scenes and working alongside Jeff.

Making God’s Love Tangible

At the heart of Jordan’s calling is a simple but profound desire: that people would know they are deeply loved by an incredible God. She seeks to demonstrate that love in tangible ways—through presence, care, and consistency.

For the El Puente community, Jordan hopes people experience more than programs. She longs for them to know they have a home and a family—a place where they belong. For her brothers and sisters in Christ, her prayer is that they would remember their purpose on earth: to bring light and hope into a broken world.

”Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matt. 5:16

The Joy of Watching God at Work

Some of the most impactful moments in Jordan’s ministry come through witnessing transformation. She has seen people forgive others for unimaginable wrongs, watched love for Scripture take root and grow, and experienced the beauty of God working in every heart willing to receive Him.

Recently, she has been especially encouraged by women who are deeply hungry for the Word of God. When they share what the Lord is teaching them, it pours out with joy and excitement—overflowing with life. For Jordan, there is nothing more moving than watching God fill people with that kind of joy.

Freedom Found in Saying Yes

Jordan also loves receiving mission teams. She finds joy in watching people live without restraint—stepping beyond comfort, trying new things, learning new skills or even a new language. During mission weeks, people often give themselves permission to fully engage, to hold nothing back. Jordan has seen time and again how God meets that willingness with His blessing.

Fun Facts about Jordan

Jordan brings warmth and honesty into every space she serves. She readily admits she’s terrible at sarcasm—and can sleep in like a teenager. She finds renewal through reading, especially Rhythms of Renewal by Rebekah Lyons, which helps her reset when life feels full, and novels by Julie Klassen, which she enjoys for their comforting and engaging stories.

While she doesn’t claim a single favorite Bible story, she is especially drawn to the moment when Mary sits at Jesus’ feet—a quiet picture of devotion and presence. Her anchor passage is Psalm 121, a reminder of God’s constant presence and faithful provision.

Thank you Jordan—for your faithful presence, compassionate leadership, and heart to make God’s love known in tangible ways. We are grateful to serve alongside you and Jeff and witness the work God is doing through your life and ministry.
